M arisa B Krás Borges was born in Montevideo, Uruguay; naturalized Brazilian and resides in Porto Alegre/RS since the 1980s.

Graduated in Business Administration and Public Administration and postgraduate in Finance from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS),  specialized in Environmental Management from Faculdade SENAC/SP, Journalist by vocation and writer for passion lives in Porto Alegre/RS. with her husband Jaime. He has two children: Adrian and Karen and two grandchildren: João Vicente and Martin.

She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Sierramar Journal (For Tourism Professionals)  www.jornalsierramar.blogspot.com .

He is currently working on the second book of the project: “Duda de Yorkshore teaches” whose first book "Cuidados com os dogs" was launched at the Porto Alegre Book Fair in 2021. its approval is still under study. Participates in several corporate events as a hired speaker and carries out social actions with communities with children in a state of vulnerability.

In 2022, she was selected as a writer for the Autor Presente Project (IEL) in its 50th. edition and in the Adopt a SMED writer Program in its 20th. edition..
